Fostering Training & Available Support

your family and the child that you care for.”
This means anything from educational support to foster carer support and training that’s suited to your placement.
Support also includes:
- Regular visits from your social worker, who maintains a low caseload to ensure you receive consistent, meaningful support. 24-hour telephone support from experienced social work staff.
- A competitive fostering allowance that recognises your skills, commitment, and the important role you play.
- Regular support group meetings with other foster carers, providing opportunities to share experiences, build networks, and feel connected.
- A comprehensive training programme, including independent training, face-to-face sessions within the agency, and flexible online learning to suit your needs.
- Regular social activities for carers, as well as fun days for your family and the children you care for.
- Up to 14 nights of paid respite each year, supporting your wellbeing and work–life balance.
